  • What payment methods can I use to buy assets on Kado Ramp?
    Currently debit cards, credit cards, ACH bank transfers, and wire transfers are enabled on Kado Ramp. If you’re based in the US, it is suggested you use the ACH bank transfer method. If you’re based outside the US, it is suggested you use debit/credit cards. Depending on your payment method, your bank or card issuer may issue other fees on their end.   • Why do you require KYC?
    Kado's banking partners legally require KYC for all onramp/banking activities. KYC helps protect against fraud and suspicious activities. Additionally, this allows Kado to raise limits for all users, in tandem, as opposed to other service providers without KYC and lower limits.Popular
  • How long does KYC take?
    If the information you've provided is accurate and the documents provided are clear and readable, our automatic KYC process should take just a few minutes.   • How can I raise my daily spend limit on Kado Ramp?
    Kado Ramp has different account levels with varying spending limits. All new users start at Level 1 with a daily spending limit of $500. To increase their spending limit and raise their account level, users can go through the Know Your Customer (KYC) approval process and complete transactions on the platform.   • How long does a Kado Ramp transaction take?
    After confirming the disbursement email, the assets should show up in your wallet in less than 10 minutes if the payment method used is a debit/credit card or bank transfer.   • Why do I keep getting a 3DS error when going through a Kado Ramp purchase with my card?
    3DS issues arise when your bank sees something suspicious about the transaction, like if you're on-ramping large amounts, if it's your first time using this card, or if you're on-ramping from somewhere far from your billing address. If it's your first time trying a card through Kado Ramp, we suggest starting with smaller amounts, e.g. $25, to "warm up" the card and build a trustworthy history.     At the moment, we partner with Prime Trust to complete an automatic KYC as well as manual review in the US and internationally. We may onboard additional vendors for KYC as our offerings expand.Some readers

    If you do not have a Government Tax ID Number like an Australian Tax File Number (TFN), you can input your Passport or Driver's License number. This field can not be blank.Some readers

    There is a daily spend limit because Kado Ramp is a new service, and we are scaling this service responsibly. Daily spend caps are consciously managed and subsequently raised as our banking infrastructure grows more robust.Few readers
  • What if I don’t have a crypto wallet that is currently supported by Kado Ramp?
    We currently support Metamask, Phantom, and Keplr with direct integrations. You can also manually enter your wallet address to send funds directly. If the wallet you have is compatible with the asset you desire, Kado will be able to send funds directly to it.Few readers
  • I don't see my disbursement email to confirm my purchase.

    No, VPNs can not be used with Kado Ramp. This is due to our vendor/partner's fraud prevention policies to ensure nobody else may be using your identity and/or financial information.Few readers

    Your personal information is encrypted in transit between our hosted systems, and protected via SSL/HTTPS. PII is not stored on our systems, with the exception of email, country code, and phone number, which are encrypted in storage.     To increase from Tier 1 to Tier 2, you must use Kado Ramp for 14 days, make 5 orders, and purchase a minimum of $1,500.00.     Kado allows you to one click connect to Keplr, Meta Mask, and Phantom wallets. You can connect to other chain-compatible wallets but you will have to connect them by entering the wallet address and memo.Few readers

  • What is a Memo?
    A Memo is an additional address feature necessary for identifying a transaction recipient beyond a wallet address. For exchanges that have a significant amount of customers, it is not optimal to have an individual wallet address for each customer. Customers send to a single address and add a memo (or destination tag) to indicate which deposit belongs to which user.   • Can I send funds to a wallet other than MetaMask, Phantom, or Keplr using Kado Ramp?
    You can send funds to a different wallet by clicking "Send To" and input the wallet address you want to send funds to. Make sure to check if the desired wallet requires memo input.Few readers

  • What happens if my wire transfer doesn't go through?
    A wire transfer not going through can mean a variety of things. The first step is to make sure the asset you sent is compatible with the wallet you sent tokens to. If the transaction states that it has failed, you will need to contact your bank.Few readers
  • How do I know my transaction went through?
    Your transaction will go through if you receive an email from us to authorize the transaction, and click confirm.Few readers
  • Does my transaction go through if I didnt get an email to confirm it?

  • How do I know the asset I choose is compatible with the wallet selected?
    Kado supported wallets will show if an asset is compatible or not. Wallets that require manual address will need to be vetted by the user.Few readers
  • Does it matter what wallet I send assets to?
    Yes. You cannot send any asset to any wallet. Certain assets are compatible with certain wallets and blockchains.Few readers
  • Can I use Kado ramp in New York?

  • Can I buy an NFT using Kado Ramp?
