What Is USDT?

USDT (Tether USD) is a digital asset known as a stablecoin. USDT is pegged at the US dollar and is redeemable 1:1. USDT is backed by billions in financial assets under "Tether's reserves" eliminating extreme price volatility.

USDT originally launched in 2014 and operates on Solana, Ethereum, Kusama, Avalanche, Polkadot, Algorand, EOS, Liquid Network, Omni, Tron and Bitcoin Cash's Standard Ledger Protocol.
