What is a web3 wallet and how do I select the right one?

Web3 wallets are essential to access the Web3 space, DeFi, and crypto. Web3 wallets are essentially digital wallets that can store digital assets such as cryptocurrencies and NFTs. These wallets allow you to interact with dApps on various blockchains.

Web3 wallets often have a non-custodial characteristic, which means that you as the wallet owner can store digital assets without the need for an intermediary or middleman.

When using the Kado platform, you'll need your own web3 wallet to receive and store cryptocurrency, as Kado does not hold your funds for you. Remember to keep your seed phrases in a safe place, and never lose your seed phrases. If you do end up losing the seed phrase or it gets into the hands of the wrong person, your funds can be lost forever.

You can easily connect your web3 wallet on Kado by clicking "Connect" next to one of the Kado supported wallets, or send to any external wallet address on that same blockchain network.

Web3 wallets currently supported on Kado are:
MetaMask
Phantom Wallet
Keplr Wallet
Compass Wallet
Leap Wallet
Ctrl Wallet
