Why do I keep getting a 3DS error when going through a Kado Ramp purchase with my card?
3DS issues arise when your bank sees something suspicious about the transaction, like if you're on-ramping large amounts, if it's your first time using this card, or if you're on-ramping from somewhere far from your billing address.
If it's your first time trying a card through Kado Ramp, we suggest starting with smaller amounts, e.g. $25, to "warm up" the card and build a trustworthy history.
In some cases if you're consistently getting 3DS errors, regardless of small amounts, some banks will consider all crypto transactions as categorically risky and will block all crypto-related transactions from their end. In these cases, we recommend trying a different card from a different issuing bank.
